It is important that the hospital trolley be made of sturdy but lightweight materials, considering the demands of use. LUMED EUROCART trolleys are made of 1.5-mm sheet metal, which provides strength and solidity. The standard LUMED trolley in the EUROCART line weighs about 14kg, which simplifies shipping and assembly. In addition, it is of paramount importance that the hospital trolley passes two types of tests:

1) Of load bearing capacity, how much the trolley is able to support both at the level of individual floors and the total

2) Exposure to different slopes so that the maximum tilting slope can be identified

The LUMED EUROCART medical trolley is available in two different models, one for small medical equipment and accessories such as electrocardiographs and monitors and one for heavier and bulkier computer systems.

Capacity tests for EUROCART trolleys yielded the result of 15kg for each individual shelf and 40kg maximum overall, and as far as tipping is concerned, our trolley withstands a maximum slope of 12 degrees.
